Free Standing Hammock; Relaxation That Doesnt Rely On Trees

There are many different types of hammock stand that give you a free standing hammock without permanent anchors. You can find them made of wood or metal, painted or natural, whatever type suits your personal taste or will look best in the area in which you plan to put it.

Then you have the folding hammock. A folding hammock has everything you need to enjoy lying on a hammock without any assembly. Simply fold it up like a lawn chair and put it away or take it with you on vacation.

Folding hammocks are basically one kind of portable hammock. They open and can be used much like a cot. In fact they basically are a type of cot. This kind of free standing hammock can really be used anywhere and are easy to put away if the weather is not good.

Free standing hammocks are also great on the patio where there are no trees nearby. If your yard is small but you have a good sized patio, or if you have a pool area, a hammock with a frame is a great way for you to be able to enjoy relaxing outdoors.

You no longer need two trees conveniently placed in your yard in order to have a hammock that your entire family can enjoy. Free standing hammocks can be hung from stands that are sturdy and will support your weight, giving you as much enjoyment as you would have had with one hung from trees.
